  • I am unable to complete my order. A message indicates that login has failed, despite the fact that my account is active. What am I to do?

This could be for a variety of reasons:

  • It is possible that the login you used was for the Siddha Yoga path website. The website for the Siddha Yoga Bookstore and the website for the Siddha Yoga path are two distinct entities. This means you must create a separate login for the Siddha Yoga Bookstore website.
  • You may have registered previously using a different e-mail address.
  • You registered as a guest previously.

In any of these instances, you must create a new account on the Siddha Yoga Bookstore website.

  • I've just placed an order and realized I'd like to add an additional item. How am I to accomplish this?

Additional items cannot be added to an order once it has been placed and the credit card authorized. You will need to place a separate order for that.

  • How can I track the status of my order?

Within one day of your order being shipped, you will receive an email with the invoice and tracking number.

If your order is not delivered within 6–7 business days of receipt of the invoice and tracking number, please contact the carrier you selected—USPS (United States Postal Service), UPS, or DHL—for the most up-to-date tracking information.

  • My shipping address is a PO Box, and I'd like to use UPS. What am I to do?

UPS does not deliver to Post Office Boxes. You must select USPS as your shipping method.

DHL does not deliver to post office boxes. You must select USPS as your shipping method.

  • I'd like to return an item that I purchased. What is the procedure for returning an item?
  • If possible, repackage the item(s) in the same package in which they were received (or in other secure packaging), along with the invoice.
  • Returns for unused items must be made within 30 days of purchase.
  • When returning an item for a refund, send an email to the Bookstore with the tracking number provided by the carrier used to return your purchase.

When the item is received in new condition, you will receive a refund for the purchase price. This refund will be applied to the same credit card used to place the order within 5 business days. If you paid by check or money order, your refund will be issued via check within 15 business days.

  • I received an order from a country other than the United States. When it arrived, an additional fee for customs clearance was required.

Isn't that already included in the price of the order?

Customs fees are calculated based on the destination country of the order. These fees are in addition to the price you pay the Siddha Yoga Bookstore. Customers are responsible for customs duties in their respective countries.

  • I am hesitant to enter my credit card information online. Is it possible to place an order online but pay with a money order or personal check?

A money order or personal check cannot be used to pay for an online order. To pay in either of these ways, you must mail your order to the Siddha Yoga Bookstore along with a check or money order.

Ascertain that the check is issued by a bank located in the United States (they do not accept Canadian or other foreign checks). Make the check payable to SYDA Foundation and include your name, address, and phone number on the front.

To determine the amount of sales tax (if applicable) and shipping charges to include in your check or money order, please follow the steps below:

  • From the online Bookstore, select the items you wish to purchase.
  • Add them to your shopping cart.
  • Navigate to the checkout page.
  • Select your shipping method.
  • Check out as a guest or create an account if you are a new customer.
  • Continue by entering your billing and shipping information. At this point in the process, you'll see the items you've chosen and the total cost of your order, which includes taxes (if applicable) and shipping.

  • When will my order be shipped if I use a money order or personal check to make payment?

If you include an e-mail address on your order form, you will receive an email notification once your order has been shipped to their warehouse.

  • I purchased the Home Study Course for Siddha Yoga. When will the lessons be delivered to me?

Lessons for the Home Study Course will be mailed to you within 7 days of receipt of your order. This shipment includes the entire course—all 12 lessons.

  • I am currently enrolled in the Siddha Yoga Home Study Course and have a question regarding my studies. Whom am I to contact?

  • I recently purchased something from your bookstore. I've just noticed that it's no longer available on the website. How do I acquire it?

When an item is retired from the Bookstore, it is removed from the website. If an item is temporarily unavailable for purchase, it will become available once the stock is replenished.

  • I noticed that my country is not on your list of countries that you ship to. How do I order products from the Siddha Yoga Bookstore?

Due to carrier restrictions, they are unable to ship to certain countries.

  • Is the SYDA Foundation a non-profit organization that accepts international checks?

No, international checks are not accepted by The SYDA Foundation.

If you send an international check, you will receive it back.

  • Can the DVDs that you sell be used internationally?

Yes. Their DVDs are NTSC-compatible and region-free, which means they can be used in any country.

  • I'm allergic to certain fragrances and oils. Is it true that your products are hypoallergenic?

The Siddha Yoga Bookstore makes no guarantee that the products it sells are hypoallergenic.
